Contact Us for Defiance Records

Defiance County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, or retrieve official booking records. Direct those needs to the responsible public office below.

Official Defiance County Record Contacts

Start with CCNO for a person held in regional custody, a recent Defiance County booking, a jail-register request, or a request about a booking photograph. Use the Sheriff’s Office for county law-enforcement routing and a record tied to that office. CCNO’s public-records procedure is governed by Ohio Revised Code 149.43; it does not guarantee a particular image format or response time.

No separate booking-records line, copy fee, or response deadline was verified. Ask for the records custodian.

For a mailed CCNO public-records request, its official request page uses the form “Public Records Request, CCNO, 03151 County Road 2425, Stryker, OH 43557.” Include the person’s full name, a booking number when known, date or date range, arresting agency, and the specific record sought. Ask separately for a booking record, jail-register entry, booking photograph, or release/discharge entry so the custodian can address each identifiable record.

  • For current custody, the rolling seven-day booking window, and CCNO request steps, use the home record-access page and then the official CCNO source.
  • For a current warrant question, use Most Wanted for the documented verification route. A court case result is not a live-warrant confirmation.
  • For a Defiance Police incident record, contact the Defiance Police Division at 324 Perry Street, Suite A, Defiance, OH 43512; 419-784-5050 is the non-emergency number, and 419-784-0084 is the listed office line during weekday office hours.
  • For a Hicksville Police incident record, use the listed department contact at 510 West High Street, Hicksville, OH 43526, 419-542-6661, or hicksvillepd@hicksvilleohio.gov.
  • For later case status, use Defiance Municipal Court CaseLook for municipal matters and the Defiance County Clerk of Courts for Common Pleas matters. CaseLook warns that entries can be delayed 24 hours or longer.
  • For a sentenced Ohio prisoner or state-supervision profile, use the ODRC offender search. It is separate from a new CCNO booking.
  • For separate federal or immigration custody questions, use the BOP inmate locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System, not a county booking source.
